Hundreds of lives are lost each year in confined spaces, more than half of those are rescuers. Many of these deaths are preventable through realistic confined space entry and industrial rescue training.

Responding to client needs, Survival Systems started working on a task-specific, realistic and mobile industrial safety and rescue training simulator in 1993. The M.I.R.T.™ design was guided by clients in heavy industry, power generation, oil and gas production, mining, pulp and paper, heavy contruction, municipal operations and shipbuilding. Since 1993, ongoing consultations with these clients have resulted in continuous design improvements. Thousands of trainees have undergone rigourous safety and rescue training in this innovative simulator.

The M.I.R.T.™ is a mobile training simulation system including simulator, towing truck, training equipment and customised truck body. It can be used at whatever training site you choose and can simulate your most difficult safety or rescue scenarios.

Survival Systems provides the system complete with equipment, teaching materials and instructor training. Custom simulators for specific applications are also available.
